Its been a bust few days for running with club members going Christmas Crackers, doing the Turkey trot and running in Greencastle

Race over the Glen entries are now closed. With over 740 entries this will be the biggest race run by the club. We have some capacity to accept late entries. Find out about special the pre race registration event on Sunday 29 December and and about the race instructions.

The club was well represented recently at the Seely Cup 10k with some great performances. Meanwhile a number of members headed off for a spot of running in the sunshine in Fuengirola, Lanzarote and Malaga.

A huge thanks to everyone involved in our Treadmill Challenge. Whether you walked, jogged or rand on the treadmill, or worked behind the scenes, your efforts helped us raise £1,000 for the NI Children's Hospice. Well done and thanks.

Last week saw Duncan Millar complete the tough Ben Nevis Race and the club had a fantastic turnout and some great times recorded at the NI Road racing championships in Victoria Park.

Its been a brilliant week of running for the club with Kathleen Law claiming a win, Naomi Hutchinson taking a third place, Vicky Ratner joining the top 10 ladies fastest marathons in Longford and PBs achieved in several races.

We are delighted to announce that Ballymena Runners is organising a Treadmill Challenge in aid of the Children’s Hospice. Last year we raised £866 for the Children’s Hospice.

This years challenge will be on Thursday 19th September and Friday 20th September at Lifestyle Fitness in Ballymena. Everyone is welcome to join us to run, jog or walk. Find out more and book you place now....
